Acacia Prison is a medium-security prison for adult men, located at Wooroloo, about 50km east of Perth. It is the largest prison in Western Australia and the State’s first privately managed prison, operated by Serco on behalf of the Department of Justice.

Acacia holds sentenced men with a medium-security rating. Prisoners are usually assessed at Hakea Prison before transfer. The prison runs an open campus-style layout with education, programs, and work activities focused on rehabilitation and reintegration.
