Braidwood Local Court is located in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales within the Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council area.
The town sits on the Kings Highway between Canberra and Batemans Bay, approximately 200 kilometres south-west of Sydney.
While the historic Braidwood Court has existed since around 1900 and remains a civic building, it is no longer used as an active sitting court. Matters are now generally managed through Queanbeyan Court.
