Perry Q Wood is a Partner of Hugo Law Group and responsible for the firm’s growth and strategy.
Awarded Managing Partner of the Year at the Australian Law Awards in 2026, recognised internationally by Best Lawyers and consistently ranked by the Doyle’s Guide and Lawyers Weekly, he is one of Australia’s best lawyers.
Mr Wood is the Immediate Past National President of the Australian Institute of Administrative Law.
Mr Wood is a former Senior Member / Practice Leader of Australia’s administrative review tribunal (AAT). Earlier, he trained as a solicitor at Clayton Utz and served as the Chief Judge’s Associate at the County Court (to His Honour Chief Judge Rozenes AO QC).
Away from the law, Mr Wood is responsible for a multi-million dollar investment portfolio as Chair of the Investment Committee of the Australian Institute of International Affairs, first established as a branch of London’s Royal Institute of International Affairs (“Chatham House”) in Victoria in 1924.
