About this centre
Long Bay Correctional Complex is located about 14km south of the Sydney CBD on Anzac Parade, around 3km south of Maroubra. The complex houses the Metropolitan Special Programs Centre (MSPC) and Long Bay Hospital, a maximum to minimum-security facility for medical and psychiatric patients and some remand inmates.
What this centre is used for
The complex provides custody alongside medical, psychiatric and specialist programs, including transit for people attending medical appointments through Justice Health NSW.
Visits and contact
All visits require bookings, which are made directly with the relevant centre on the complex. The nearest railway station is Central, with regular buses to the complex. Parking is limited. Before travelling, call to confirm the visit and visiting time.
