Melaleuca Women’s Prison is a maximum-security remand and receival prison for women in the Perth metropolitan area, located at Canning Vale. It opened in 2016 (originally as the Melaleuca Remand and Reintegration Facility) on what were previously units of Hakea Prison. Management returned to the Department of Justice in 2020.
