About this centre
The Metropolitan Special Programs Centre (MSPC) is located on the Long Bay Correctional Complex, about 14km south of the Sydney CBD. It accommodates offenders of all classifications, including those in transit awaiting medical appointments with Justice Health NSW. Long Bay Hospital is also on the complex.
What this centre is used for
The centre delivers specialist programs and holds inmates across classifications, including those attending the complex for medical or psychiatric care.
Visits and contact
Bookings are required for in-person and video visits and can be made by phone Monday to Wednesday 8:30am to 4:00pm and Thursday 8:30am to 3:00pm. The nearest railway station is Central, with regular buses. Parking is limited. Before travelling, call to confirm the visit and visiting time.
