About this facility
Wandoo Rehabilitation Prison is a minimum to medium-security prison for women at Murdoch in Perth. Since 2018 it has operated as a dedicated alcohol and other drug (AOD) rehabilitation facility, the State’s first rehabilitation prison.
What this facility is used for
Wandoo holds women and delivers a structured AOD rehabilitation program aimed at breaking the cycle of addiction, in a campus-style setting with communal facilities.

All visits must be booked in advance and visitors must meet the facility’s identification and approval requirements. Visit days, times, and booking processes vary between facilities, and some have separate arrangements for legal and professional visitors.
